Since time immemorial, the Turkomans have bred the famous Akhal-Teke horses. Merdan lives in the city, but loves the beautiful animals like nothing on earth. Visiting his grandfather during the summer holidays, the Circassian delves into a completely different way of life: after all, Merdan’s grandfather is a noble equerry who has raised dozens of Akhal-Teke horses. Merdan is introduced to the world of horses, learns to ride – and his enthusiasm bears unforeseen fruit.
