On the evening of her 52nd birthday, the literature teacher Manana unexpectedly announces that she is going to move out of her parents’ home in Tbilisi. Her family, an ordinary Georgian family with three generations living under one roof, is shocked. Where is she going? Who has driven her away? What does she have against her good husband, who does not drink, take drugs or beat her? Without her family and her husband, Manana embarks upon a journey into an uncertain future.
