Sarajevo, May 2021. Baščaršija is trying to recover from a long and difficult pandemic year. The pandemic is still ongoing, but still – summer is coming and he hopes for better days. When one morning a woman from Zagreb shows up at Enes’ kebab shop looking for the “best kebabs in Sarajevo,” Enes sends the woman on to Iza’s. This simple gesture sparks a series of unintended consequences that will affect both the professional and private lives of many people in unexpected ways, first spreading to the neighborhood, then engulfing the entire city.
